The Combat Adaptive Pistol or CAP is the newest CO2 powered sidearm offering from APS. The CAP features an ergonomically molded polymer frame, with lightly textured grip panels, providing a comfortable and effective non-slip grip. At the business end of the frame is a 4-slot 20mm accessory rail, perfect for mounting weapon lights or lasers making it an effective weapon platform for both day or night operations. The slide is constructed from a heavyweight metal alloy giving the CAP a hefty, realistic weight making it perfect for training and simulation. Front and rear serrations make weapon manipulation easy and milled channeling along the top of the slide keeps glare to a minimum and a stamped American flag gives you a sense of patriotism while dispensing plastic freedom out on the field.

The CAP uses the same tested CO2 system used in their successful line of ACP pistols with all the external tactical upgrades that players have asked for. The slim grip and 26 round magazine make sure you will never be uncomfortable, or run out of ammunition in the field.

About the D-MOD System: The APS ACP series of CO2 powered blowback pistols have been overwhelmingly popular with airsofters all over the world. Through feedback from the end user APS found that some users preferred to use Green Gas as opposed to CO2 and others couldn't use their favorite ACP at their favorite CQB or indoor fields. APS took all of this user feedback and used it to develop their D-MOD gas system. D-MOD pistols are compatible with both CO2 and Green Gas (Each gun comes with one CO2 magazine), shoot at an FPS that is legal in most popular CQB/Indoor/MOUT fields. The foundation of the D-MOD system is gas efficiency. In order to shoot at a lower FPS APS redesigned their gas system to be as efficient as possible resulting in not only field legal FPS but an unrivaled gas efficiency allowing the shooter multiple magazines without having to refill the gas. ACP has accomplished all this without hindering the performance and accuracy that made the ACP a best seller in the first place.
